Capture The Spirit Of Christmas With A Festive Fragrance

Design Your Own Festive Perfume online now

The warm spiced waft of Mince Pies, the steaming pudding;

The aromatic scent of pine needles in the firelight:

Mulled Wine, Sloe Gin, orange peel and

The swinging censer, the cloud of Frankincense at Midnight Mass...

There’s nothing quite like Christmas.

Every year I like to capture the spirit of the season by whipping up a festive, Christmassy perfume!

If you’d like to do the same, here are a few ideas for perfumes that would really capture the spirit of Christmas, and spread the festivity everywhere you go.

Some Christmassy Perfume Combinations:

Sugarplum

“The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.”

Everyone who has seen the “Nutcracker” ballet will know that there is nothing more Christmassy or magical than a Sugarplum! Let the Sugarplum Fairy lead your nose this Christmas Eve as you dance a passionate Pas De Deux in the Land of Sweets...

Method:

Whirl up some Christmas Magic with a handful of Sugarplum, topped with a sprinkle of Nutmeg, and Clove!

Mystical Magi of The Orient

“We three kings of Orient are

Bearing gifts we traverse afar

Field and fountain, moor and mountain

Following yonder star”

Invite the mystical three kings into your home this Christmas with this classic combination!

Method:

Invoke the spirits of these three special characters with a combination of Frankincense, Myrrh, and Sweet Orange. I choose orange to represent their third gift of gold, as it is a warm, rich and faraway scent, which also traditionally pairs well with Frankincense.

Figgy Pudding

“Good tidings we bring for you and your kin,

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Now bring us some figgy pudding

Now bring us some figgy pudding!”

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without an enormous pud, smothered in vanilla custard or brandy sauce – and why limit the fun to mealtimes?! Here is my recipe for the perfect pudding perfume...

Method:

Mix together some diced Fig, with a dash of Christmas Spice! Make your wishes as you stir...And serve up hot with Vanilla.
